Trip to Utah and Sarah's Wedding

Last Wed. me and the kids set of to Utah to see my little sister get married. On the way to Utah we had a six hour flight that had two stops. Luckily my Dad flew up with me to help me with the kids. He was such a big help and for about an hour of the flight everyone was asleep. The kids did really well. Curtis woke up once to eat and was asleep the rest of the time. Kayla watched Mickey Mouse and loved looking out the window. We stayed at my Uncle Don and Aunt Debra's house in Lehi. Kayla got to feed cows some apples from their apple trees. She loved picking them off the ground and throwing them.
Sarah and Steve Morley got married in the Oqurrih Mountain Temple on Friday.Taking pictures during nap time and feeding time are not a good combination.
My mom and I at the reception.
Curtis slept through the whole reception. I'm sad people did not get to see him awake and smiling but it was so nice to only have to worry about one kid.

Kayla loved the balloons, she just walked around during the clean up holding her balloons.
Back Home. On the way home we had only once transfer, the whole trip took about 4 hours. Kayla felt like such a big girl sitting by the window.
The flight back home had one plane change but was only a four hour trip. For the last half of the trip everyone was able to sleep again. This is my parents holding my kids. It was so nice to have help with them. Thank you Mom and Dad.

Happy Birthday to me....

August 15th was my birthday, for my birthday Byron watched both the kids while I was able to go shopping. It was so nice to be able to shop with out two kids. I left the house after putting both kids down for a nap. I was hoping it would have been easy for Byron, but no. Shortly after I left Curtis woke up and cried almost the whole time. At least Kayla was asleep most of the time. Needless to say, Byron will not volunteer to watch both kids for a while.
After I got back, we went out to eat at Shogun, which is a great Hibachi grill in Southlake, it's one of our favorite places to eat. We rarely go any more because it's a little on the pricey side.
Kayla new thing is to eat the lemons that come in our water. She makes sour faces but still eats them.
Kayla was fascinated by my dessert. She was nice enough to help me eat it.

Kayla loves to crawl into my glider, and hold the baby. He is going to out grow her before I know it.

A week of Webs but no Biggie

For all of you that don't know, Byron's nick name is Biggie. So the kids and I have really missed our Biggie.

For the past almost two week I have been making up for not doing anything for a month. Well other than having a baby. I started back to work last week and I have been at my parent's house for about a week. I came home on Sunday and left again. I am finally home.

At my parent's house I have been making spider webs for my dad, who sells them at Halloween time. You have to make them with rope on the ground. My mom was so helpful watching the kids so I can go make them.

He is a picture of two webs in my parent's backyard. And in case you are interested here is a link to my dad's web site that has instillation pictures. http://www.spiderwebman.net/ They are pretty cool and it has been a nice source of extra income. I have been helping my dad with these for the past 5 years.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK

My family also drove down to visit my sister and her family for her son's 3rd Birthday. She is due at the end of August with a little girl. It was nice to be pregnant together, I just feel bad now that I am done and she still has a couple of weeks.

I don't think I held Curtis during the party. The adults we playing pass the baby.

Kayla enjoyed the cake and ice cream.
