We had a good Christmas this year. It was the first Christmas Kayla understood that Santa was coming and she could ask for presents. We saw Santa at the library and Kayla was so excited!!

Cain Ty Price

Short Version:

Admitted to hospital Sat the 15th.

Released from hospital Sun the 16th- no baby

had contractions all week.

Finally Thursday the contractions got stronger. Admitted to the hospital at 4pm.

Cain was born at 9:55pm on Byron's Birthday Oct. 20th

He was sent to the NICU because he was grunting

In the morning he was not getting better on his own so they gave him a c-pap,

he stopped grunting.

Finally Sunday morning I got to hold him and he was off the c-pap.

That afternoon he started eating from a bottle, and was doing everything on his own

Monday night I roomed in at the hospital with Cain and brought him home Tues morning.

(Right after he was born)

(With the C-pap)
Long Version:

I was hoping to have him on the weekend either the 15th or 16th so it would not be too close to Byron's Birthday. I even spent the night in the hospital Sat. night but got sent back home becasue I did not progress. I was having contraction the whole week, but they never got worse. Monday and Tues I chased my kids around the park and did all I could to go into labor, and nothing. Finally Thursday morning I was so uncomfortable but my contractions were not too bad. Around 3pm they started picking up and I called the doctor at 4pm and he said to go to the hospital. When I got there I was dilated to a 4 (I was a 2 Sunday morning). He admitted me, broke my water and gave me an epidural. I got medicine before it really started hurting, that was nice. At about 9:30pm I was feeling major pressure. I was a 10! By the time the doctor got there and they got set up 2 pushes and he was out! Way faster than I thought!!

Cain Ty Price was born on Byron's Birthday October 20th at 9:55 pm.

He sure cried enough but he was grunting so they let me hold him for a minute then took him to the NICU. The next morning he was still grunting and working too hard to breathe so they put a C-pap in his nose. He kept making progress, Saturday morning they started turning down the C-pap. By Sunday morning they took him off of it and I was able to hold him!!! Sunday afternoon I got to feed him his first bottle. I spent the night at the hospital and set my alarm so I could feed him through out the night. By Monday morning they took the feeding tube out and the IV so he was like a newborn and as long as he did fine he could stay in the hospital room with me that night and go home the next morning.

Monday night I took him out of the NICU and that was an amazing feeling. We were finally able to leave the hospital at 1pm.

Kayla asked to hold him. Curtis poked at him and walked away.

I am so happy to have him home and healthy. Kayla and Curtis both run to him and want to help when he starts crying. And so far Cain just sleep and eats and is pretty content.

Pumpkin Patch

In this picture I am actually only 33 weeks. I am now 36 weeks. I went to the doctor last week and the baby was measuring almost 6 lbs. On Friday I will be 37 weeks and the doctor said I can go into labor. So I am planning on trying to have the baby this weekend. We will see how it works out but I did not have any problems going into labor in the past.

I took the kids to a pumpkin patch last week with my mom and they had a blast. I want to give the kids a Halloween even though I am about to have a baby.

25 Weeks!!

This is me at 22 weeks and I am now at 25 weeks. So far no problems, just getting bigger by the day. At my last check-up our big boy was measuring a week bigger than normal. So looks like I am going to have another big boy!
I let Kayla and Curtis watch a movie on my phone and this is how I found them. So cute!!

It's a...

The whole time I have been pregnant Kayla was insistent that I was having a boy. I took her to the sonogram on Wed. and she loved seeing the baby on the tv screen. The nurse asked "what did you say it was?" Kayla said "Boy" and she was right, we are having another little boy!! I am thrilled to be having another healthy little boy. I just think it is ironic that I sell bows and flowers and I had two boys in a row, go figure!!

The Kids were so excited for the easter bunny to bring them candy.

We also went to the library and got to see a real bunny. Kayla loved it!

Curtis found 3 eggs then opened them to find the candy.

11 weeks

Sorry I don't have any pictures. I am just getting over my morning sickness and feel like I am finally getting my life back in order. But I am 11 weeks pregnant!! I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and got to see my little baby. It was moving and jumping during the whole sonogram. Looks like I am going to have another hyper one. Either way everything looked healthy.

My new Best Friend

I LOVE this wagon!
I got it for Christmas and this is the first time I have really been able to use it. It folds up so small and is so easy to pull around. Almost every person that had more than one kid asked me where I got it. I got mine on amazon.com, it's called "on the edge folding wagon". My little Valentine Baby turned 3 years old on Valentine's Day. For her birthday we went to the zoo and saw 'Kayla's animals'.
It was such a fun day to get out of the house and enjoy this wonderful weather!

Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas!!! I love this top picture, we finally got one where everyone was happy, there were a lot of unhappy ones. The kids got matching "Car" pj's on Christmas eve. They got some toys to play with and there big presents was a big box fort. I figure why spend lots of money on tons of toys when all they do is play with the boxes. They loved it. They played in the box for a good 10min. before they even noticed there were presents. In: Out:

Thanksgiving and more...

For Thanksgiving we drove out to Arizona to spend it with Byron's brother Curtis and his family. It was a lot of fun, we got to go to the Zoo. They both loved seeing all the animals.
The Car ride to AZ was great, we made it in 15 hours. Both kids did great. Thank goodness for DVD players

Cadance and Kayla played like sisters, either they were fighting or best friends. They were so fun to watch!!
They played in Curtis' playpen with everyone was making Thanksgiving dinner.
BLACK FRIDAY...
So Michelle and her family always go out on Black Friday so I joined them. We planned out everything the night before and left at 10:30 PM!!! We shopped all night/ waited out in the cold, until 5:45 AM. It was a long night but a lot of fun. I saved a lot of money and got 98% of my Christmas shopping done. I felt bad because we left Friday night so Byron had to drive almost the whole night since I did not get any sleep the night before.
All in All a great trip!! Now back to the real world

Halloween

For Halloween Kayla was Dorthy and Curtis was the lion from the Wizard of OZ. It was hard getting pictures together but I did get some of them playing in dirt together, running and playing together. Curtis never said Trick or Treat but he sure knew how to walk up to people and hold out his container. Kayla remembered from last year instantly and said trick or treat and thank you. The next morning she woke up and said "We go trick or treating". She wanted more candy, cause she has a mean mommy that will not let her eat more than one piece at a time.

Finally we can go outside

It has been so nice outside. We have gone outside almost everyday. I took some great pics of the kids.
These pics are so cute but I have a confession I really only took pics of them for my beanies I have been making. Is it bad that I have taken more pics of my flowers than my kids lately? Well admitting I have a problem is the first step. I am going to take tons of pics of my kids.

Full of Changes

Sorry I have not been good about blogging lately.
Ever since we moved to Decatur in July I really have not had free time. When I was not unpacking or taking care of my three kids (I am not pregnant! Byron would be the third kid), I was working on my flowers and my new website. Starting your own side business takes a lot of time and probably doing while moving, not the best idea but what's done is done.

I do finally have my website up and I am so excited. http://www.priceless-design.com/

The kids are doing good. I can not believe that Curtis is almost 15 months. When Kayla was that old I was about to have another baby. CRAZY!!! He is such a big boy now, and Kayla and Curtis are so cute playing together.

Girls Night

The kids took a four wheeler ride with daddy. They loved it!!!!
Then Kayla loves to crawl into the sroller and have Curtis push her around. It is so cute.

Kayla and I had a girls night with our Friends Kim and Pipper. We went to the Wise County Carnival. We had to ride the horse on the Carrisel. Kayle LOVED it!! She would have rode it all night.
Then Kayla and Pipper played the Fishing game, and each won a dolphin.
It was a fun night, I am really looking forward to having lots of girls nights with Kayla. I loved dressing Kayla up in her little red cowboy boots. She fit right into Decatur.
