The Fun Begins

After I got home from church yesterday I started having contractions, that kept getting worse instead of better. So I finally went to the hospital and they decided I was having minor contractions, which they were able to stop. But I was dilated to 1 1/2, I think they said I was 60% effaced and she could feel the baby's head. So from there they decided to admit me to the hospital. I am fine now, they are just keeping an eye on me. They are doing a test in the morning to see if I am going to go into labor in the next two weeks. So depending on those results the doctor can give me more idea of what is in my future. He said I should be able to go home tomorrow morning, but to be prepared to be put on bed rest.

They checked the baby he is about 3lbs and doing fine. I am doing fine too, just going out of my mind in the hospital. Hopefully I will not have another baby in the NICU and this bed rest will help. The things we do for our kids.

7 Months and Counting

This pregnancy has gone by so fast. I am already 7 months pregnant. I got to go to the doctor today and I saw him sticking out his tongue and making faces. It is still weird to me to think that there is a baby growing inside of me.

As the doctor discovered with the sonogram. He is resting his head on my bladder and has his feet under my ribs, and is constantly kicking. I did not need a sonogram to tell me that, but now I have proof. The doctor said he was long, which Kayla was too, but she did not stay that way. Either way everything looks good, his is a active, healthy little boy. We are very excited for him to join our family.

Here is a video of Kayla dancing. She loves to dance. Enjoy...

Happy Easter

We went to another Easter Egg Hunt at Daycare on Friday morning. Kayla got the hang of picking up the eggs. She got lots of good candy for mommy. On Saturday we went to my parent's house for Easter and on Sunday we went to Byron's mom's house. We had lots of fun and got to spend time with family. What more could you ask for on Easter.

This is me at 27 weeks.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Roanoke Easter Egg Hunt this morning and Kayla enjoyed getting eggs and plating at the playground. She was very clingy, so she was not into seeing the easter bunny or playing in the bounce house. We did get some good treats, that of course mommy and daddy will have to test for her. Can't wait till next week for Easter!
We saw the easter bunny, but Kayla was not happy about it.
