Another Wedding Reception

Last weekend my sister had her wedding reception in Allen TX. So we ventured to Allen to help set up and to visit with family.

The three toddlers. Kayla on the left, Alex my brother's son in the middle and Lily my cousin's daughter on the right. I think this was the only time all three were sitting down. Alex and Lily are days apart and Kayla is two months older.The beautiful family picture.

I just thought this was a cute picture, Curtis is getting such a cute personality.

Kayla loves the camera, if she finds it she will bring it to me and smile for the picture then want to look at it. She loves to take pictures of the baby too. I just love being a mom for two great kids.

Smiles

I don't have much to say, I just wanted to post some pictures of Curtis smiling. He has such a personality now, and it is so nice that we have settled into somewhat of a routine. He sleeps about 7 hours a night. He just sleeps all morning or is awake and happy, then in the afternoon, he is crying all the time, if you do get him to smile it's followed by a cry. Sometimes it feels like he is a whole different baby. Oh well he sleeps through the night and is a deep sleeper which is great when you have a 19 month old who likes to scream and play "poke baby in the nose" or "lets see how many toys we can stack on top of baby when he is sleeping."

Curtis Meet Curtis

As some of you my know we named our little boy after Byron's brother Curtis. Curtis came to visit us this past weekend from Arizona to meet Baby Curtis. We had lots of fun all weekend, but poor little Curtis was sick all weekend, I think Uncle Curtis only saw him smile once. Curtis also taught Kayla how to do knuckles this weekend. Every time she see s a picture of him she puts her fist out to do knuckles. Thanks for coming Curtis!!

TWO MONTHS OLD

Curtis is also two months old now. I can not believe how big he has grown just in the past month. He smiles a lot and tries to laugh sometimes. He loves to look at Kayla and just smiles at her all the time. Kayla likes to go up to him and talk to him and try to tickle him. It is so cute to watch them interact.

At Curtis' two month appointment I think the doctor was shocked how big he was, probably since he has never seen my husband and he is so use to watching Kayla. Curtis weighed a whopping 13lbs 8 oz which is in the 95 % and was 23" long which puts him in the 90%. What a big boy. The Doctor was shocked that he sleeps 6-7 hrs at night and that he only on breast milk. He definitely takes after his daddy.
Curtis is going to outweigh Kayla before I know it.
