Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Roanoke Easter Egg Hunt this morning and Kayla enjoyed getting eggs and plating at the playground. She was very clingy, so she was not into seeing the easter bunny or playing in the bounce house. We did get some good treats, that of course mommy and daddy will have to test for her. Can't wait till next week for Easter!
We saw the easter bunny, but Kayla was not happy about it.

Play Time at the Park

We went to see the ducks at the park on Friday. Kayla would say duck and try to follow them. I put her hair in pony tails, so cute. What a Big Girl!

New Toys

I got some new toys for Kayla to play with, and I thought I would just post some new pics. ENJOY!!!I got her a doll house and she just likes to crawl in it.Kayla loves to press her face against clear objects, it is so funny.She loves to crawl under the coffee table and play with mom's cell phone. I wish this was at our house, but she loves to swing. I just thought this was cute.

It's a Boy!!!

I went to the doctor yesterday and he confirmed the baby was a boy. Byron was so excited to get his boy. I can not believe I am already 21 weeks. time goes by fast. I'm just glad Kayla is walking so i don't have to carry her around every where. I feel like I am 7 months pregnant. Here is a picture of me, I am so much bigger than I was with Kayla but I guess that is what you get with your second kid.

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's day we celebrated Kayla's first birthday. She is our little Valentine baby. I can not believe it have already been one year. We went to Chuck E Cheese and invited all of Kayla's friends then our family can back to our house to watch Kayla "destroy" her cake.

Kayla did nothing to her cake she just wiped of the frosting and ate it. The only reason the cake looks like she broke into it is because I stuck her hand in it, and she still only licked her fingers.

Big Sister to be...

I made this shirt for Kayla. At Thanksgiving we told our families this way. It was cute, some got it right away others it took them a little longer. Sorry this post is super late. So for any of you that don't know Kayla is going to be a big sister in July. I am 17 weeks, and last week the doctor said that he thinks it looks like a boy, but we will make sure at the end of the month when I am 20 weeks.

Kayla is Walking

She has been walking for about two weeks now. Each day she gets better. She still can not stand up using the ground, but she can bend over and pick something up and keep walking. She is also getting a little girl personality, throwing fits, and saying "no" when she does not get her way.
